Hi All
Its been a while but I'm back!!!

Just got a little bantam cockerel (8 months) to join my 5 ex-bat girls that I have had for 18 months. The girls are on ex-bat pellets and the little lad is on growers pellets with a bit corn mixed in. I want to integrate the cockerel into the girls large enclosure (more a courtyard size wise) as they are all used to each other now, but obviously dont want to upset digestion with the different foods. My questions are;
1. How long do you keep youngsters on growers pellets?
2. Will it hurt for the chickens to eat each others pellets or should I mix the two pellets together?
(till the lad is able to come off growers pellets that is).
thanks in advance for any help.
