Goose laying outside

Hi,
One of my white chinese geese has started laying 08 , only problem, she insists on laying in a nest she has made outside, unfortunately if I am not around when she lays, the darned crows get the eggs 06 . Any ideas on how I can get her to make a nest and lay in it, indoors, would be much appreciated , thanks.

Hi, can you not keep her in for a few days? just until she builds a nest and lays indoors- then she should keep on laying there.

Hi David,
Thanks for the information, I rather thought that would be the case, however I feel a bit mean shutting her in as it is only this week we have got back to normal, with regards to the weather, the snow went last week but the ground and their stream only thawed out last weekend 17 , so the geese have only just started to enjoy running water again, hopefully once shut in, she will realise and start laying inside sooner rather than later .
