getting over being broody

how long does it take or should i say how long could it take for a bird to stop feeling broody ??

If you take them off the nest and put into a cage, then less than a week usually. Left in a nest box, could take weeks.

Hi, yes cage method better although I haven't done it yet but I did leave a broody on the nest hoping she would give up but on the fourth week I gave in and let her have some eggs, I can never resist some more cute chicks ) but yea I really don't know how much longer she would have sat but probably still a long time!
