Regards.
I am broiler poultry farmer in karachi, pakistan. About 14000 broiler chicks are rared in every flok on all in all out basis.
MY QUESTION IS WHAT ARE THE BENIFITS ARE USING THE FOLLOWING HERBAL ITEMS AND AT WHAT RATE.

1. GARRLIC
2. TURMERIC POWDER
3. ACV ( APPLE CIDER VENIGER) can ACV available in supper store be used for poultry ?

Hi,
i use Garlic in my allotment and it is supposed to clean out there stomachs and it is also supposed to stop mice nibbling on there tails or taking there food (because of there smell). Hope this helps.

I'm sure you'll have some very informed answers but for now here's my input:-

ACV -no, you shouldn't use ACV fit for human consumption as its has been refined & the chickens need the unrefined sort.
10ml per litre of drinking water given one week per month.
Its good for their respiratory system (I think).

Garlic - very good for them added to their water or feed, is good for their immune system. You can either add cloves of garlic to the water or granules to the feed.

Turmeric - don't know about this one.
