Our third and final little girl is now laying!! 08

I got home yesterday and went to get what I thought would be two eggs and there was three!!! What a nice surprise! All three had used the same nest box so I think it will be a competition to see who can get there first each day!

So, three eggs a day (thereabouts) from now on! Wish I'd kept tabs on how many the other two have laid so far!!

Congratulation how exciting!I have noticed that hens prefer to use next box where at lest 1 egg is already.They always checking them out first if anybody had laid yet.They can even withold laing and wait if sombody else going to laid first.My GLPF always wait for Dorking to laid firs(she somtimes prolonged her wisits and GLPF ewentually in front of the nest box as the other won't let her inn)
