My naughty polands escaped from where they temporarily living (while hubby creosotes the sheds!) they were sectioned off from my white orps with netting and found a gap and disappeared off free ranging :) !

Hubby left them to it as both groups aren't laying well at the mo - There is a cockerel in each group but they were all as happy as larry! Went to lock up their sheds and they were all snuggled in together like they'd been a flock forever, even the cockerels were pals!

Bless them all, they obviously haven't read the chicken books that say they should fight and establish a pcking order :lol: :lol:

no1 told my millefluer and black mottled pekin cockerels and hens about this either as they had to be housed together when i found some red mite in the black mottleds ark, they now are being housed all together for winter and are really happy about it. the millefluer cockerel always goes to bed first tho and on the highest by 2 inches perch, so i don't know if thats any indication of ranking,
