Hi - My Marans are laying well, and the colour is still around 4-5 on the official chart, though they were much darker earlier in the season.
They are good layers, and I am still getting around 5 eggs a day from 6 hens.
My Aug hatch came off last week and fertility was good with plenty of strong healthy chicks
Eggs are £1 each plus p&p.
