Can anyone please tell me of a plastic type of floor, washable, moveable, cut to sizeable, that I can find? Also affordable. I've got concrete for one area, straw, concrete, much waste food, and rain are not a pleasant combination, neither is earth with the above combinations. I thought some sort of scrubbable would be good. I did once see the answer on ebay, then holidays, good weather, etc. made me forget, and I cannot find it now. I would be so grateful for ideas and suggestions, regards, VB.

i have rubber matting, it comes in big slabs and you cut it to fit x

Many thanks for your reply. Can you tell me where to obtain the matting, please? May have been the stuff I saw previously, and thought was a good idea!! VB.

hi,

earlswood-supplies.com is where mine came from 0845 017 1351. googling it may find a closer place to you.

Hi,
Do you then put straw over the rubber matting? so they have something nice for their tootsies. I have found some in a roll, nearly £100 for 10m, but it seems the cheapest around - from Cannons UK, and I can see the usefulness of it as a floor.
Do you put straw or bedding over it?

hi,

no i dont. i only put straw in the nest boxes an under the perches not on the stable floor. i scrape the poo off of it once a week and sweep it. mine it quite substantial stuff about 1cm thick and very heavy to move. its good stuff. i imagine the rubber your looking at is thinner as you couldnt roll the stuff i have got its so chunky.

Many thanks again for your input.
The rubber roll is 3cm thick which I thought was thick enough probably, as I cannot do heavy at the moment due to a broken arm. Regards. VB.

sounds good to me, you will need help when it arrives it is very heavy stuff but it stays in place very well. i know the feeling i am also injured with tendonitis in my wrist and a splint! its a pain! x
