First eggs

First 2 eggs found this evening. Dumb birds laid them out in the run and not in the coop !!

One was quite good with quite a bit of shell the other a bit of a jelly shell.

It takes time for them to find the nest boxes and use them BeemerBaz. Just make sure they can be found so don't fit curtains yet, or if you have, pin them back. Poor little things probably didn't know what was happening to them anyway, hence laying in the run. Sure they will get the hang of it soon.

My wife thinks the "Jelly Shell" eggs look like mini breast implants :lol:

Back in the 70's when it was the latest fad to serve as a starter those newfangled avocados cut in half and filled with vinaigrette, a friend of ours put us off them for life by casually observing it was like 'eating a woman's breast from the inside out.'
