First egg

Hi my 31 week old silver/grey dorking laid a perfect 55gram egg today.Soo pleased with her.My son said to put it in incubator,ha,ha,ha

Bless her! This years pullets are now in lay too, they have a giant black trug to lay in and are pushing it around their shed to lay eggs behind it!

Went today to clean the cop and there she was inside with cockrell -talking,not sure where she should go.Pop her in to the nest left her alone so she had some privacy ,comeback later and there it was-perfect

A great big well done to her! It is the best thing, finding the first egg,isn't it? (I still get really excited finding our girls eggs each morning!!)

I get excited each time she's laid.After firs egg she had 3 days off and then she laid again on Monday,Tuasday and yesterday.Bless her she's favorite at the moment with my son.
