Hi All

I have today baked some eggs shells to give to our girls.

How small should the pieces be, and should we add them to their food, they are on growers pellets.

As they're still growers they are not likely to need any extra calcium until they start to lay, and then it should be present in layers pellets in sufficient amounts. The crushed eggshells will fall through the pellets and it's unlikely they will be eaten, but it will do no harm to try. Just crumble them up, this is easy if they've been baked. You could add them to their pot of oystershell and grit in case they fancy the eggshell.
