Fairy eggs

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have kept chickens for about 3 years. I have four hens and three, week old chicks.
One of my hens, a cream legbar who is about 3 years old has started laying fairy eggs, she hasn't laid a proper sized egg for a couple of weeks now.

Does anyone know the reason for this? I have been racking my brains and this might sound silly, but I wondered if she had used up her supply of eggs.

Any info would be gratefully appreciated.

It could be because she has come to the end of her laying (I have a 3 yo Sussex who has) but if she hasnt had a moult that can also be a reason. HTH!

Hi, thanks for replying, she hasn't just had a moult so I think it must be the end of her laying, my others have slowed up too.
