I think I am suffering from the above disease.
I think the cure is to offer to incubate eggs for people and hand over the results for a fee, say £30.
What does anybody think?
I have an Octogon 20 Eco, last hatch 15 out of 16 - so proud of that! I think it takes 24 hens eggs.
Will it be the medication I need? Is it viable, is it possible, do other people do this?
Serious answers would be appreciated.

i think i suffer the same. iv got mine full at the mo 15 orpington bantam, 12 silkies 4 pekin 8 x breed, but it is the first in a while, my last lot have started laying.

I think a lot of people who have incubated suffer from this as do I. I have done 3 incubations in the last 6 months and tripled the size of my flock! The OH has now banned the incy till next year but I have managed to squeeze a few eggs under a broody ;-) now about your question I think it could be viable but may have to base your price on the number of chicks being hatched, like a hatchery, and also think about whether you would provide the eggs or if they would which I also think could affect the price of course. As for how successful it would be I have no idea as I do not live in the uk and in France absolutely everyone has chickens in my area so something that definately would not work here. Good luck

I've got a made incy , with a very accurate and easy set up , last hatch was 3/6 as one hatched and died and two non fertile , in currently setting 22 copper marans , so in three weeks time it will be empty , I'm open to offers for a hire fee ?? If you live in leics / northants area message me , or il do it here for you , my girls love helping watch the chicks hatch

Yes, I'd be happy to do that, for free, my incubator has hibernated in the roof for now because I've just got too many quail and had better not start on more chickens, much though I'd love to. Anybody living in North Hampshire who wants eggs hatched? Inci only takes 7 large eggs but is very reliable.

Ours is packed away and in storage off-site deliberately so that the temptation has been removed. But we do have a two year old broody hen at the moment. Her mum ate all the other babies as they hatched, but she was only 12 months old. She looked so sorry for it as well! Perhaps her daughter would do better?

Tomatoes and cucumber Ziggy. Too early for the outside plants yet. We set ot sweetcorn and squashes May to go out in June. Got to change my routines though as they put Tomato plants outside in March in Dordogne!
