hi my light sussex has been sitting on 3 fertilised eggs for 10 days or so, i did post about her not eating but she has been popping out on the odd occassion. However for the last 2 days every time she got off the eggs my marsh daisy has popped in and egg sat for her. until yesterday when i noticed both hens were in the nest box. i popped my head in and the daisy was sitting on the eggs and the sussex was sitting on her.
So i took daisy off and she pushed straight back in. So currently i now have both hens sitting on 3 eggs.
My question will now be ... if the eggs hatch will they be ok to share the raising of the chicks, i am very confused that they are both sitting on them :-)11

you can have mine LOL i need the eggs for my cake business..... Tesco here i come

Two broodies on three eggs is not a good idea as the eggs can get broken or cold.
