egg ring?

Hi,
I have just candled some eggs at day 8 - and one that is definitely fertilised has a large air gap at the pointed end and looks a little odd - wondering if it is infected? Hard to tell with brown eggs!
Any suggestions most welcome!

Sometimes it is the wrong way around - the chick needs to have its beak at the end of the air sack so it can breathe during the hatch. It may have difficulty getting out (the pointed end) of the egg but give it enough time to get out naturally before helping.

Thanks Tim , didn't know that it could be opposite end. I won't disregard it so easily just yet!
