Egg Laying

My ducks have started to lay (woohoo). A couple of people have said to me that we should keep one egg in the nest at all times or they'll stop laying. Is this true? I've been picking up the eggs every day so far.
We only have eating eggs, not fertile eggs.

Hmmm, I never have, but my Dad always insists on leaving one egg in the chicken and duck nests... see what works for your girls
