Egg Boxes

---Has anyone found a cheap source of egg boxes? I need a top up of some for my 'gate sales' , Ive looked through the internet and on e bay to try and find them cheaper than at our local agricultural store.Most people return them but they all eventually disappear, if you look at prices + P and P its easy to see that egg sales profit goes on boxes not chicken food! I sell them very cheaply as very few people use our lane , I may have to go back to my old style of containers--chopped off bottoms of plastic milk bottles! Anyone found a very cheap supplier? Ros

Thanks for that GR--2 of those I ve not found! With PP and they still work out more than the more expensive ones from feed merchant ! I never really thought about cost of boxes before working out box prices (about 15p each) --its not much but if I pay this amount its any egg profit gone if they are not returned-I think some begging and scrounging is required here! Ros

Is that 15p for a half dozen box? Domestic Fowl Trust sell a strip (so a dozen) for 17p,although all my neighbours give me egg boxes,so haven't bought any yet.
