egg boxes

i was just wondering i any one knows were i can get egg boxes (apart from the super market) were thinking of selling our eggs in the local shop but i dont know where to get boxes for the eggs, if any one can help that would be great,

Hi Robert, you can't sell to shops- or to places where they are sold on-unless you are registered- you can sell from your gate or to people you know but not to anywhere they are then sold on, i.e. shops, hospitals, old peoples homes etc sorry for the bad news, regards, David - try on-line for egg boxes- Ascott is good or there are plenty others- they are cheap if you buy lots :)

although... depending on where you are located... you could have a usda approved poultry/egg farm and then you could sell to maybe local shops... thats something we are working on right now actually :D gl to you
 
For my 'gate sales' I bought a pack of about 50 from nearest agricultural stoe,- all the locals return them with others they have bought . Ros
