eating vaseline

today i went into my house with a sealed tray of vaseline so i could wipe it uner the perches and as soon as i had the lid of the girls were into like hawks to a kill 3 of them got a right mouth full but ran of before i could get out the house and grab them if it doesnt hurt them then at least then eggs will come out smoother tomorrow :lol: :lol: why do birds have to get thier beaks into 05 everything you do

I couldn't believe it when ours ate the foam rubber heat protection strip off the polytunnel frame. Cost £15 to replace it all as well !

Sure they will be OK with Vaseline Karminski. Wonder why they got a taste for that? Our daffidil waited and watched me fiddling around in the tin until I had rolled the cigarette yesterday and they grabbed it and ran off. I had to be quick before she swallowed it. When Bottom was just a big chick he grabbed a lit one from my fingers and swallowed it -fortunately for him he swallowed it filter end first. Unfortunately for me, as I got burned pulling it back out of his throat. Never been near him with a cigarette since. Now we only smoke outside.

umm good answer if i have extra runny poos tomorrow at least i will know why :lol: chris thats why i never smoke near my birds :lol: :lol: , have to admit this vaseline was the cheap one from the pound shop so its a lot more yellower then the dearer brand maybe that got them thinking it was something esle .
