Earthworms

Is there such a thing as too many earthworms for chickens, they love them and i love digging them up and treating my hens..

Hello, too many of any "treats" is not good- they can get fat and slow egg production- also, earthworms can be hosts for parasitic worms- as long as you worm your hens regularly and don't give them too many then they wont come to any harm.

Ditto davidd on this. I'd let your girls get exercise and dig them up themselves though :lol:

And don't deprive your garden of too many worms as they are good for the soil also.
