When our muscovy ducks are out foraging in the garden they do the normal duck feeding thing of sifting through the mud and litter looking for bugs and such. But they also seek out tufts of long grass and pick off long blades of grass and gobble it down. I've read that geese shouldn't be grazing on long grass, so was wondering if I need to do something about it? The lawns are short, but here and there there are some longer grass.

Hmmmm, I would be tempted not to feed them the long stringy grass as they can get impacted crops from it. See what other folk say ...

They seem to search it out under the raspberry bushes etc. It's the broad-leaved lush looking stuff that grows in big tufts.

I wouldn't worry to much about it, mine go for the longer non walked over parts of the grass and never caused them problems. Muscovy's are pretty tough and hardy and wouldn't probably eat it if they felt bad after

No problem - they'll eat what they like, long or short. Mine are nibbling at nettles at the moment as well as anything that moves.
