Hi. I wonder if anybody can offer any help/advice? We had a visit from Mr Fox approx. one week ago, which we, fortunately, interupted. However, he did injure three of our indian runners, one of which died the following day. The other two are still with us, and although they have no visible injuries, they are both having trouble walking, one more than the other. Is it likely that these injuries are due to the fox shaking the ducks by the neck and causing spinal injury? Or could it just be muscular trauma/shock? Are they likely to recover? We have been giving them warm baths every other day - although their feathers have lost much of their oilyness as they are not preening as much as usual. They also have slight watery/gungey eyes as they have not been cleaning properly which I have been bathing with boiled/cooled salt water. They are drinking and eating a little, although not as much as usual. Can anybody offer any further help/info/advice? It would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
