Hiya, this sounds like it could be many things. You really need to see a vet to be sure. Keep us posted. X

Hi Peter,

Are they wormed?

First thing I always ask because ducks often go off their legs when they have worms.

Tim

yes tim all birds chicken ducks and geese have been wormed using flubenvet use garlic in water +acv,at moment no other seem to have same problem do you think best thing would be to cull we have a vet we use for dogs but she is not knowledgable on poultry

Could you look for an avian vet in your location? I have a list if you could tell me where you are based?

Also if it is a female she could be egg bound, this sometimes causes back leg paralysis. How is she or did you have to cull?

after posting my problem i sent a e-mail to indian runner club and reply i had was ducks for no apparent reason do this if left some where quiet normally get over it tried and glad to say she is now walking, dorsetduckowner have found a vet near me who is good with poultry if allowed to say found him on practical poultry forum once again thanks for replies
