Double Yoke Eggs

I've had quite a few double yoke eggs from one of our hybrids. She seems to lay a double yoke then not lay for 3-4 days. She has been laying for about 3 weeks, so still quite young. Will she settle down and lay normal eggs? Also will laying double yokes casue her problems?

Hi, yes, she will settle down and lay normal eggs Young birds nearly always lay double yolkers at some point- once they settle into a routine they will stop and lay normally .They will cause no problems what so ever.

perfectly normal! one of our silver sussex laid double yolkers up until her first moult.
