Don't go into the coop alone!!!

I like looking at people's bookshelves - a nice eclectic mix you've got there, Rick, from Nick Hornby to William Golding. I like the piled-up effect, indicative of a man who had too many books. Eclectic beer, as well. Don't give it to your flock at Halloween.
Maybe we could start a Bookshelf thread - post a pic of an object in front of your bookshelf, (without editing the book display beforehand?

ooo - must get some bottles of that. We're having some pals round for next weekend and that'll go down a treat.

Ooh Marigold, I feel I must parry the insinuation :)
To be fair a good 90% of these are Carol's with a scattering of trees, myths and prehistory that are mine, and that all time classic 'Logic Gates and Flip Flops' of course!
The Gita Metha is mine and I keep meaning to read that Patrick Ness one 'A Monster Calls'
'H is for Hawk' was an infuriating book that I nearly threw across the room a couple of times but I couldn’t put it down for long!

Lets hope the spirits of murdered chickens don't walk abroad on Halloween or I've well and truly had it!. The chickeniest beer I've come across is Roosters Leghorn, the brewery has quite a nice logo of a roosters head. Tonight I've been drinking (a few too many) Magic Rock High Wire which I would heartily recommend if you like a nice hoppy beer followed by some Ardberg which is just too nice for it's (and my) own good. My bookshelf is half full of DVDs, should I be admitting that?.

... Nah, they wouldn’t bare a grudge but they might take the opportunity to walk through the wall and raid the pantry.
