Does anyone make there own hen food up

Hi all im fancying making my own hen food like for example corn then dehydrate peas and sweetcorn but wanting more ideas please thank you

If you keep egg laying hybrids I can’t see any advantage in making your own food, when good-quality layers pellets will give them a diet balanced for the job they’re bred to do, with the right amount of calcium and vitamins etc for strong eggshells and frequent laying.
