Heard one cheeping and 3 out of the 5 move so .............I WISH they would just get on with it !! :shock: :lol:
 
that's brilliant,my quail make a hole,then wait 24 hrs before coming out.It's cute 'cos it is like they are all having a chat whilst still in their eggs.
It wont be long now :D .
 
Around 2pm two of them started to make a bid for freedom! One of them has a star shaped raised crack and the other a tiny little raised chip. Then....NOTHING :roll: :lol: Amazing isn't it? When nothing happens it is so stressful that I think - not doing THIS again and then when you see or hear little signs - there I am planning my next lot!! :lol:
 
Its ok Anne -all that striving for freedom exhausts them-if you cant hear or see anything they are having a well earned little kip before they start again. Ros
 
Hi Anne,
Great to hear about your chicks. Are any out yet?
Don't panic if they don't all hatch at once. It could take upto 3 days for some of them.
Just enjoy!

(PS mental note to myself to check my emails more often ;)
