Wonderful.
Traditionally, to get geese to market, I believe they first dipped their feet in tar for protection and then walked them here, sometimes over quite long distances. I wonder if the geese had to be imprinted for this to work, also the ones in the video?

Not necessarily. If they are food trained they will follow the person who feeds them. They may well have been started on their "band" training at quite a young age though.
 
Lovely video, very cute.
I am bit like that sometimes when I do out in the garden, minus the music but with a slice of bread and the corn.

I know hens are not supposed to have bread, but a slice between a dozen or so chickens I am sure cannot hurt, and with the Croads it works wonders if they are quite determined not to return to their run. I sometimes think they would sell their souls for a bit of bread. All of mine love it.

We have a little yellow pot we put the afternoon corn in, minute the girls see that they will follow you anywhere
