cross your fingers for me

its easier saying it then doing it as the old saying goes , i am upset and very very annoyed about all of it and i think i have just had the worse night ever with my banties trying to get them to go to bed the 4 gold partridges have turned really nasty just before bedtime the racket they made tonight attacking the smaller dutches was almost unbearable i think i might just take the risk with the fox and let the birds sleep were they please and as for stopping the egg eating well i think thats going to be near imposible if my hours change and i have no one who will collect them daily for me ,i think my tea break might be 11ish in the morning so i could go over every day to collect them but then that means i lose out on my break and thats all we get in a 7 1/2 hr day.

Karlooben. If you work that many hours each day, your employer is legally obliged to give you a lunch break of not less than 30 mins as well as your tea break. That's the law in the UK.

try telling that to my boss , i work in print making book up glue folders together blah blah ohh and doing loads of post stuff as well and when you stare at the same thing after a few hours your eyes go funny and you have to close them wether you like it or not its really annoying ,and as for egg eating only rescued one today :( :( and thats only cause i was there this afternoon as she dropped it .
but when i let all the birds in together the odd maran bird went into the coop eating up the left over bits of shell before i could in there and clean it all out again    i need the ultimate cure .

You know what the ultimate cure is Karlooben, as well as we all do. A habit once developed that is near impossible to break.

i do have someone who will do the deed for me and hes said sunday is better for him as hes working all day saturdays at present if its cooled down enough sunday then i will take the 2 main worse ones to be done this guy can even eat them if he wants and to tell you the truth i cant beleive i just wrote that but just cause i am a vege it deosnt mean i cant not produce birds for food etc etc .

We've despatched only one for egg eating Karlooben. It was pretty obvious it was incurable. She would lay the egg and immediately turn round, bash the shell to break it then eat the contents. It was not a gentle tap (to test the shell quality prior to brooding), she was determined to get into it. We didn't have dark brown pot eggs and she ignored the white ones.
