Oh, well 4-H is a club where kids between grades 1 and 12 work on projects and some enter their projects in the fair. Projects can be animals, crafts, gardening, etc. There are many clubs doing different projects, and multiple clubs doing the same projects. For example, there are like 4 to 5 4-H clubs doing poultry in this area. The club I'm in does poultry, rabbits, and pocket pets (hamsters, rats, ferrets, etc.)
Blue ribbons are first place, red is second place, and white is third. When judging the breed, everyone gets a blue unless there is something wrong with the animal, so they get a red. Or if it's a disqualification (DQ) they get a white.
Glad to share my knowledge! XD
