Copper Black Marans Rooster

Ok, now that i have determined that my rooster is a copper black marans( with the help of a couple of poultry gurus, who we will call Tim and Blue..thanks guys).. He is a year old and i put him in with my 20 white leghorn ex bat hens(who are also a year old)...good idea or not????

They are stunning birds. If you are happy to keep him (and he is not a noise problem for neighbours etc) I don't see any problem with it.

The only CBM I've owned was a beast of a bird. Really nasty. And soon departed this earth for the oven.
