Hi all,

We now have one hen left, she has been and is our sole provider of eggs.
I know we shouldn't be keeping just one hen and are in the process of sourcing some new stock.
Our one hen is a very lively bird and looks to be very healthy, as ever there is a but, since we have had her,
her comb has always been very red and proud, but have noticed today that the tips have turned black in colour.
Should I be worried?

A blackened comb can result from frostbite, but I don't suppose it's that yet! Maybe other people will have more ideas. If she's apparently OK, probably nothing to worry about.
