cold weather and my ducks

I have two black Swedish adult ducks one male and one female . It is supposed to be -14 windchill here tonight. they have a house and I have put plenty of straw and kind of stacked it higher along walls. Was wandering if I need to do anything else . I also have a light I could put in . I guess what I'm asking is how cold is too cold for my ducks

Hiya Sounds like you have done all the right things. Make sure there are no draughts. They are very well insulated so lots of straw and they should be fine in their little house. The light may upset their daylength routines and affect their reproductive hormones, best not put it in.
