Just a reminder to all members of the forum to use the click throughs to Amazon from http://poultrykeeper.com if you are doing any of your Christmas shopping there!

If you scroll down the link is on the left hand side on the home page. It doesn't cost you anything to click but it helps towards the costs of running the forum.

Just ordered my mum's pressie from there and almost forgot to click on the link so thought I'd remind everyone else.

Happy Shopping :D

Bah Humbug
You can always use the amazon link to treat yourself to some nice chicken books instead :-)08 Or a sledge and snow shovel if this weather continues ;)

LOL,xmas is too expensive :-)06 .
I probably will buy a few pressie's,for the dogs,kitten,chux,guinea-pigs.....ooh,and my teenage son.

Hello Ros and Lydia!!! IF I remember rightly we were the only ones left in the country last Christmas - everyone else had gone on holiday without telling us .

I make a point of not staying at home for the whole two weeks holiday  - Me, the hubby and three kids alternate between my parent's home and the in- laws for the fortnight and help them eat all the food (and they both live less than 5 miles from us! :-)07 ) How we all still speak I don't know
I love it though, I have a massive extended family and we all get together lots at this time of year and that's the best bit for me :D

That sounds good to me pebojuno! Sounds just perfect :D

Hi AW----I never found out-- did your Alpaca baby arrive safely?Ros

It did Ros! He is a lovely big strong fluffy white ( ..actually very mucky white!) bundle. His name is Angus. Keeps getting eye infections though so hpe it sorts itself out .

AW-------baby alpacalet pics needed---we know you know how to post them! Ros

Hi,

YEP- have clicked on the link for my Amazonian purchases. 0:-) (have done all year) How much actually goes to the forum?

(We are all at that age where we exchange "book wish lists". At the last count I had 25 to read.Plus my son loves to sneak in an xbox 360 game request!)

Would love to see a pic of a baby Alpaca? Recently met a "Rhea", called Colin at my new food suppliers. She had 2, and a telly tubby rabbit, (huge) in with a pig Plus loads of Polands. It was all very surreal.

Thanks elmwood- I regularly get all the way to putting in my payment details in at amazon and then have to go back to the main site here and click through and start all over again!

Book wish list sounds a great idea- I'm having to re-read some of the ones I have as I have run out of new ones.

Ooooooooooh baby alpaca- bet they are gorgeous! Piccies please. Your feed store sounds very random elmwood

We were the only ones here and posting last Xmas weren't we,everybody did b****r off :D .
So where are these alpacca pics then :-)11 :? .

Yes we were Lydia - such a lot of water gone under the bridge since then - don' t know about anyone else? Ummm....I've forgotten how to post pics! Will get my act together and give it a go. :?

It has hasn't it,I feel like I've aged centuries but know even less.......normal for me then :D .
Somewhere close to me has Alpacca's for sale, but,I definitely do not have room for even one, and, one on it's own would be very miserable.

So this xmas,is everyone else (apart from Anne,Ros 'n' me)going away again??????

I'll be here, but wont be on til late as have got eldest daughter & her fiance & youngest son, GF & 2 yo grandson staying here from 19th, then eldest son, wife & 3 yo granddaughter will be here christmas week so will be busy

I'll be around now and then! Wont be posting for Christmas day though- I can't be trusted to go online after a few glasses of sloe gin, mulled wine, baileys and cheap bubbly
