Chicks have arrived!

Hello all!

My home computer has broken totally so I have been quiet, but I can get on this at work! Sssh!!

I got my 3 chicks last night! I am hoping they are all girls, but they are only 7 or 8 weeks old and it was hard to tell.......the lady said she will swap if I end up with a male!

Wooo! They looked so cute coming out of the hen house this morning, all sideways down the ladder and landing in a heap! Bless!!

Hi all!

I shall try to get some photos but not sure if I will be able to upload yet, due to computer status!

As to what breed they are, I think part Dorkin (body and bum) and then something lovely and ginger and gold on neck and head. They are VERY pretty! HOWEVER, I am concerned Lucie may actually be Luke.......oh boy, I hope not. They all get on so well, I would hate to lose Lucie and have to swap him/her. I have bought them some ping pong balls but Celia has not taken her corner yet so the game is suspended. Pip kicked the other one under the ladder and everyone is ignoring it! I caused a complete riot with half a wholemeal bread bun today, boy did they like that!!!!!!! Not keen on watercress though.......typical kids, won't eat their veggies!

They come bundling down the ladder in a feathery heap on a morning! Sigh!!!!!!! I am in love!
