Chickens won't Lay in there nest box

My girls have been great recently no problems with laying however they have taken a shine to laying in the shed is there a way of stopping this. I even sat in the house showing them where the eggs are meant to go and putting them in the box.... I'm mad I know.

Is there anything they might not like about the nestbox? ie, is it nice and dark? (have a chicken's eye view from inside the coop) has it got nice dry soft bedding? and of course is it free from redmite?
If all these are OK, could you shut them out of where they are laying in the shed, so they have fewer options other than the nestbox?

Have you tried putting some crock eggs in the nest box?

I have two who are laying in a corner of the house. They used the nest boxes all last year. Sometimes they use the box, sometimes they don't! Haven't a clue why. I have put a dummy egg in one of the boxes, but this doesn't seem to make much difference. One day it's in the box, next time it's in the house! Nice clean fresh wood shavings, no signs of any mite.
