What does 'healthy' chicken poo look like?
My bantams leave pellets not that much bigger than the layers pellets they eat, so that sounds OK.
One, or both of my big ones leaves a bright yellow/Caramac-coloured gooey mess.
Are their insides OK?

David, you are fast turning out to be my saviour!
Thanks a million.

PS Have started with the vaseline on the bantam's legs and am doing the other one in the run just for good measure, even though they've only been together day - hopefully the mites won't be able to get in uner the scales.
Thanks.

Have a look on the Chicken Health section, there's a good thread on this subject! Victoria's Poultry put a detailed list of Chicken poo's & what they look like!! Its worth reading, very helpful.

I found this on another forum, lots of poo!
