Chicken Boarding

I wish you were closer to me Sharron, you could definately look after my girls (Elvis would have to keep quiet and do his hen impression, shouldn't be a problem as he had us fooled for the first 2 weeks !).

I agree with Tim though, would advise a disclaimer for hens falling ill/off their perch while with you. I'd also be concerned about keeping them close to your own girls and putting them at risk of infection.

Other than that it sounds like a lovely thing to do, would you charge extra for the hot towel treatment ?
:D

Hi Dawn,

  - Ahhh bless him......

Hot towels- maybe I could offer a wash'n 'blowdry with towel treatment as a "pamperering extra" :)

The infection element does concern me, expecially as I am currently quarantineing my new girls-with little success- the pekins are far too nosy. Washed and tumble dried all the chicken towels earlier, its been a busy weekend with the towels- the new girlies sleep under one in their new house. Bless, they didn't even come out from under when we opened up the coop......Now I have lined a shoebox with a towel for them later.
