hi,
im new to this forum and also have a new cockerel. i am hoping somebody can tell me how long after swapping cockerels does it take for the eggs to be fertile by the new bird and not the old one??
i have a very broody hen trying to hatch out thin air at the moment and am keen to let her sit on eggs as soon as spring arrives!
i dont know if it makes any difference but the birds are cream legbars. also how soon are other people going to hatch out some 2011 chicks? im worried about the weather turning and them dying if i do it too soon.
