Call Duck Breeding

I was hoping someone could help.
I have 2 pairs of call ducks that I am going to breed this year but am also entering them in a local show at the end of February. My intention is to move them into their breeding pens after the show. Will this give them enough time to get settled before laying starts? Also, what sort of nest box is needed?

Yes should be fine! Ducks usually come into lay around Feb, the more prolific layers come into lay a little earlier.
Ducks don't really need nestboxes as such, and will probably be happy to lay willy nilly in their duck house...or anywhere really 07 ..and very early in the morning! I have a deep layer of straw in the duckhouses and they firtle around in that quite happily.
