Broody rejecting eggs

I have a silkie sitting on 6 eggs. She has been sitting for 10 days but today she has thrown one of the eggs from the nest. I can see that the egg was fertile & the chick was forming. Does anyone know why she has done this.

She successfully hatched for me last year.

its possible it died and she could feel it was cold and turfed it out.
