My bantam broody who sucessfully hatched three chicks in april and has now gone broody again and who has been a fantastic mum very commited to her brood has sundenly turned on one of her new chicks ! :( she is fine with the little yellow one but turned on the little black pekin one this afternoon the poor thing was terrified ! I managed to get two other pekin chicks and placed them under her things were fine at first and then she started to attack them as well :( I now have the three in a brooder and she is fine now just with her one chick !!! any ideas why this happened and is there a chance she may accept them in a few days time ???

It's unlikely that she will accept them later. If she is not in the mood for chicks, you'd be betterto take the remaining chick away and brood it with the others, 1. for safety of the chick 2. to make life easier now and 3. so that you will not have trouble integrating the odd chick later with the others.
