Broody Hen

Hi Folks
Our partridge cochin has gone broody- we've tried not letting her get too comfy, taking her nest box away etc but she's been like it for more than 4 weeks now off food, comb a bit pale and looking sooo sad !
Does anyone have any other ideas to help please ? Is it normal to be broody for this long ?

Have a quick look through some threads already posted for tips on how to break a broody. I know there are a few threads where people have asked for suggestions, I just don't have time to go search for them all right now.

I think you are just going to have to get more tough with her and shut her outside all day and put her on a perch in the hen house at night when its dark, so she does not sit in a nest box overnight.
