Broody Faverolles

I have a Faverolles who is determined to stay broody. The only thing is that she's only 8 months old. Is this too young to hatch some eggs?

No she will be fine and able to cover a large clutch. Just watch her closely, large faverolles aren't the best sitters and are prone to giving up after a couple of weeks.

Thanks Foxy. Would it be best to just keep taking her off the nest then rather than going to the trouble of buying some fertile eggs? I've no experience with broody hens yet so would welcome your advice.
