brooder box

Had the brooder box in the house for the pass week, but the chick's are getting too big for the box now, so i've had to make a bigger one out of plywood. The thing is, would it be ok to move the chick's into the garage, or is it a bit on the cold side. They are nine day's old, and i'll be using the brinsea heater.

I put mine out in to the garage when they are 2 weeks old, so long as they have a heat lamp they will be fine. Just make sure that they are fully protected from any possible rodents.

As kegs says, rodents are a big problem as is heat and draughts.
