My Silkie Cockerel has managed somehow to chip his top beak over the weekend, will it grow back????
He is fine, eating, drinking and happy but slightly disfigured!
Hi, it will grow back as long as it has not broken too high up - was it long or very overgrown? you can trim them if too long or causing problems but you need to know what you are doing  As long as he is eating and drinking ok i wouldn't worry too much.
regards, David
I had a fav cock who lost a sieable lump out of his beak after a good manly fight, it grew back (and his was to the quick and bleeding) - he'll be beautifull again soon
