one of my girls has gone down hill slighty and her poos have been runny and pretty much bright yellow in colour , most the time shes quiet on her own with her head tucked under but theres also times when she picks up and runs to me . shes eating but not much and has been wormed and deliced recently i have now put her in the quantine hutch where she can be quiet and rest without the others picking on her any ideas whats causing the yellow poo have looked on a poo chart but hers doesnt show on it shes an ex batt rescued last year so she may well have probelms with in her any way .

Hello,
Can we firstly ask which wormer you have used on your chickens? It doesn’t sound like your hen has Coccidiosis, it is likely that she is suffering from a bacterial illness.
If she doesn’t seem too under the weather you could try using Beryl’s Friendly Bacteria and Amino Plus which will improve your bird’s immune system, their nutrition and stress levels.
If she seems to be getting worse or is not improving after taking these treatments we would advise that you take her to the vets who will put her onto a course of antibiotics.

thankyou chicken vet for replying , she was wormed with flubenvet i think about 3 weeks ago along with the others .
she has no spytoms at all she just sulks all day with her head tucked in her wing but then all of a sudden she picks up for a little while, shes eating a little but not much one thing i have notice though is her moult although i am guessing its a bit late now but she does have new feathers coming though so i am praying its just this causing her to be down , i'll give her tell the end of the week then pop her to the vet if shes no better as i had one do this about a month ago and she really worried me now shes back up to her usaul self .shes the one i had to trim the beak on yesterday
never doing that again but after speaking to foxy last night i feel better as i really thought i had damaged her .
