Blue spot on duck beak?

Hello.

I just bought a 2 almost 3 week old pekin duck.
I believe he is a male with what i've read.
He's a very large ducking with huge feet.
Well i just got him today...
He has a blue spot on it's beak!
It's about the size of the tip of my pinkey finger.

What is this? Is he hurt?

Maybe if you could post a picture of your duck's bill someone with a knowledge of ducks could help you.

It could be just his markings, I've got one with the opposite - blue beak with a pink spot on it, if it's just a pink/yellow beak with this mark then it's just pigment, they can have alsorts of spots and splashes and mottled coloured beaks. If it was an injury they tend to look like a bruise with purple/green and sometimes blood specks on it.
