What colour young would I get if I crossed a black pekin cock with a partridge pekin hen, has anyone tried it?

If you look on the Practical Poultry forum Ajs82 there is a section about genetics and some links to articles on other sites. I spotted one about colour last week, although it was so complicated I didn't read much of it. Perhaps you will find an answer there.

When we bred TNN's (black cock, but the original breeder told me one hen was a cuckoo cross, even though she was black) the hens all came out black, but the cockerels had a mix of colours. We had some which were the original natural colouration of black with brown wings, some cuckoo and just one all black. So perhaps you will get the same thing, black hens and mixed cockerels?

I cannot get my head round genetics, too scientific and complicated.
When my purebred lemon cuckoo Pekin, Pierre joined his 7 purebred ladies, 1 blue, 1 lavender, 2 lavender cuckoo, 1 Millefleur, 1 white and 1 lemon cuckoo ,I incubated the first 13 eggs. Of the 9 resulting chicks there were 3 blacks who were obvious, so that must be a dominant gene from the blue,
but sadly they all died almost immediately apart from a buff, whose mum was, I assume, my Millefleur, and older and much more hardy girl from year before last.
Don't know if this helps in your quest for a black Partridge Pekin or not!
Happy Christmas anyway!
