Bird came into lay, then stopped

My young marans girl came into lay 2 months ago, laid about eight eggs in daily succession, then has not laid since. Do I need to worry about this? It seems unusual.

If she was an early hatch then it is quite possible she is preparing for a moult. The change in seasons may stimulate moulting or signal it is time to have a break from laying. As long as her behaviour is normal, no signs of stress then I wouldn't worry too much, just a bit frustrating for you!

Thank you Foxy! She was hatched in March. Glad I don't have to worry. Her feathers look wonderful, not as though they need to be changed. I hope your birds are all well.
